Farrelli’s Wood Fire Pizza Was Founded in 1995 in Lacey, WA by John, Margaret and Jacque Farrell As “farrelli’s Pizza and Pool CO.” John and Margaret Had Owned Several Past Concepts in Tacoma Including John’s Breakfast, Burgers and Pies, the Hob Nob, and Engine House . Employee Interviews Were Held in A Dirt Parking Lot Where the Restaurant Now Stands At A Folding Table With Chairs. Several of the People Hired At Those Original Interviews Are Still With the Company To This Day. the Employees Were Hired Based Upon the Quality of Their Character and Not the Quality of Their Resume, A Strategy That Has Served the Company Well for 16 Years Now. Farrelli’s Refers To This Strategy As Hiring for Talent Rather Than Experience.
